Safety

Little hands explore everything, so we want you to have the facts before a toy reaches your child. Every product page lists the toy's materials and its recommended age. Please read both before you buy.

Check the recommended age

Each toy has a recommended age in its specifications. Toys marked 3 years and up contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3. Our 0 to 12 months and 1 to 2 years collections gather the toys meant for younger children.

Choking hazard: small parts

Many of our toys have pieces such as beads, pegs, letters and small blocks. These are a choking hazard for children under 3. Keep them away from babies and younger siblings, and count the pieces back into their box or bag after play.

Always supervise play

Every toy should be used with an adult nearby. Walkers and push toys should only be used on flat, smooth floors, away from stairs, water and steps.

Inspect toys regularly

Before each use, check for loose parts, splinters, cracks or tears. Stop using any toy that is damaged and contact us if it arrived that way.

Teethers and silicone toys

Check teethers before every use and replace them at the first sign of wear, such as tears, bite marks or loose parts. Never tie a teether or toy around your baby's neck. Pacifier clips should only be attached to clothing.

Caring for wood and silicone

Wipe wooden toys with a damp cloth and let them air dry. Do not soak wooden toys or put them in the dishwasher, as water can make the wood swell and crack. Wash silicone toys in warm, soapy water, rinse well and leave them to air dry.
